Let the games begin!

Its not a dream, the 2004 Olympics are go! Along with an explosive show of colours and pyrotechnics Athens unveiled its brand new Olympic stadium to the awe of viewers.
The opening ceremony was nothing less than spectacular greeting all the participating countries to the beats of the latest dance tunes pumping up the adrenaline for what looks to be the most exciting Olympics yet!
Well for the Greeks anyway, who will gladly embrace this influx of well earned investment and tourism which should give this capital an uplift of Olympian proportions.

One of the obvious topics which has followed the launch of these Olympics or any major sporting event is the drugs issue. Some suggest an Un-official Olympics event where performance enhancing substances would be openly accepted as the price to pay for pure record breaking and entertainment value. Imagine Herculean heroes with muscles bulging breaking the barriers of human achievement. Of course there are moral issues at stake, as purists would cry out that it would be unfair, and cruel to the competitors..
But how long until the entertainment element out balances the moral and ethical issues?
